To vocal prayer we must add mental prayer which enlightens the mind, inflames the heart and enables the soul to hear the voice of wisdom, to relish his delights and to possess his treasures. I know of no better means to establish in ourselves the kingdom of God and to draw divine wisdom to our soul than to pray vocally and mentally by saying the holy rosary, whilst meditating on its fifteen mysteries.
